About Cornerstone Baptist Church of Germantown
Cornerstone Baptist Church of Germantown is a new church plant in the Mid-South. Because of Christ’s finished work on the cross, we recognize that we have been purchased by His life, and now we exist for His glory. Therefore, we pursue two main things: Great Commandment Relationships & Great Commission Responsibility.
When we say, “Great Commandment Relationships,” we mean that we love the Lord with all that we are and with all that we have. Jesus Christ is preeminent in all things (Col. 1:18). It also means that we allow Christ to love others through us (Matt. 22:37-40).
When we say, “Great Commission Responsibility,” we recognize that we are responsible for our stewardship of the gospel (Matt. 28:18-20). As a result, we want those around us to know of their need of a Savior and of God’s provision though Jesus Christ. We actively encourage and equip our people to graciously engage those around them with the Good News of the gospel.
