About Cornerstone Church

Cornerstone Church is a thriving and growing church in the heart of downtown Gadsden, AL. We are an ethnically diverse and multi-generational church whose mission is to help you build your life on Jesus. Our heart is to reach the 7 out of 10 people in our county of 100,000 who don’t go to church anywhere. We have a thriving children’s ministry, with 4, soon to be 5, nurseries along with a full blown children’s service. We have young couples everywhere and we’re also reaching people who are in their 50s, 60s and 70s. We have seen God grow our church in the past three years by 55%, 29% and have already seen 25% growth this year. Cornerstone will turn 5 years old in February, 2020 and we believe that our best days are still ahead of us.

We take a simple approach to church by focusing on our Sunday morning services, discipleship and small groups and we are heavily involved in missions both locally and globally. Stylistically, we are modern, upbeat and casual when it comes to our Sunday morning service. We focus on the practical ways we can make an impact in someone’s life while remaining firm on our doctrinal beliefs. We affirm the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.

At Cornerstone we love to say that, “You Belong!” We believe that no matter who you are, you can find your place here. It’s not our job to change people; we leave that up to the Holy Spirit; our job is to love them and point them to Jesus. We are a church for the un-churched, de-churched and people who have given up on church. If you don’t like church, then you will like Cornerstone because we want to change the way people see church.

We are a fast-paced ministry; we don’t sit around waiting for decisions to be made, people need Jesus and we want to reach them. We have a great relationship with those in our community and strive to make kingdom impacts in our city. We love to have fun and like to think outside the box when it comes to church. To reach who no one is reaching, we will do what no one is doing.
