We launched Crosspoint in 1996 with an idea to take the chuch to the people and to keep the church structure simple. We met in homes for Bible study throughout the week and gathered in one place for worship on Sunday. Our first place of worship was a snack warehouse. We met for many years at Dodson Elementary School. We currently meet for worship in a renovated office building at 2900 Mill Street.

We affiliate with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Nevada Baptist Convention, and the Sierra Baptist Association. We are grateful for this national, state, and local cooperative group of churches that are committed to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with people thorughout the world.

We recently celebrated our 24th church anniversary, and we are joyfully looking ahead to what God has in store for us next. We are committed to be a church that serves our community with excellence, helps each other grow in our Christian faith, tells people about Jesus whenever we can, and worships our awesome God through our joyful obedience to Him.
