We are a new Anglican community seeking to make God’s love known and visible in Williamsburg, VA.

Our Story:

In 2013, James and Anna Swynford moved (back) to Williamsburg with the hope of starting a gospel-driven, mission-focused Anglican church. Beginning in October 2013 we started meeting in their home for prayer, worship, and fellowship.

With that, Incarnation Church was born. We’re a welcoming, tight-knit, multi-generational community who wants God to use us to serve the good and health of this city and region.

We trust that God will work in all sorts of ways. In our Sunday worship. In our daily life and work. And in the way we serve the Williamsburg community.

We’re a part of the Anglican Church in North America through the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic. We value tradition and embrace fresh expressions of the Spirit.
