Maize Road Baptist Chapel was founded in 1962 and met for worship in Maize Road Elementary School. The following year Maize Road Baptist Church was constituted with 37 charter members and purchased land to build on which was subsequently dedicated in 1966. Over the years we have been blessed with Godly leaders including Dr. John Schoolar (our first pastor), George Cleirhew, Ed Havner, John Kirby and our current senior pastor, Brett Castle. We celebrated 50 years as Maize Road Baptist Church in 2013 and are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us in the future!
