South County Community Church is a contemporary, multi-generational church in Shady Side, MD.

Our vision is to share the love, hope and truth of Jesus Christ.

South County Community Church (SCCC) started as a church plant out of Riva Trace Baptist Church. After much planning and even more prayer, the very first worship service for SCCC was held in September 2012 at the Community Center in Shady Side. Worship services were held afterwards on a monthly basis, and small groups met in members’ homes.

In Fall of 2013, we were blessed with our very first Pastor (Dan Keaton) and in November 2013, we were blessed with the provision of a church building.

We hope you will join us for worship on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. Children (preschool through fifth grade) have classes available to them in our Learning Center. A nursery is also available.
