About Vista Community Church
We see a church that is not described as a building in the community but rather as the body of Christ making a difference in the community.
We see a church that does not expect the community to come to us, but rather we see the church going out into the community. We see church where people are in the community meeting in homes to discuss the Bible and share real life with others.
We see a church that is made up of ordinary individuals doing extraordinary things by representing Jesus at their jobs, in their hobbies, in their neighborhoods, at their schools, and wherever they go.
We see a church coming together on Sunday morning to a place in the community that we call the church building. This is a place where believers are gathering to worship, seeking God through prayer, serving in ministry, and learning the Bible in a relevant way for life change. This is also a safe place to bring a friend to discover who Christ is.
We see a church where people are coming just as they are with all their hurts, baggage of the past, and dreams for the future. As they begin to follow Jesus, they will begin to find a new life and new identity and new hope and new view on life!
We see lives, families and the community being changed because Vista is a church representing Christ in a “real” way in the community. We see Jesus building His Church and allowing us to join in the process!
