About Wrens Baptist Church
Wrens is a town with a population of approximately 2,200 people. Though a small town, Wrens has the North Jefferson Family Y, a town walking track and playground across from the church, the Wrens Baptist Church Child Development Center, several restaurants, the McCollum Public Library, medical facilities, several antique shops, and Wrens Elementary School. There are also 3 private schools within a reasonable distance from Wrens. Jefferson County High and Middle schools are centrally located in the county.
Wrens is located 30 miles south of Augusta. Atlanta is just over 2 hours away, the north Georgia mountains are 3-4 hours away (Blue Ridge is 3 ¾ hours), and Savannah is a 2 hour trip. It is near Clark Hill lake, a popular spot for camping, fishing, and water sports.
