Senior Pastor and Head of Staff
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a Master of Divinity degree from an accredited theological seminary.
• Experience as a Pastor or Associate Pastor with significant preaching and leadership responsibilities.
• Ordained by ECO or a reformed denomination, and willing to be ordained by ECO.
• Concurrence with ECO’s tenets and Confessions.
Believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as the only way to eternal life.
Holds the Bible as the inspired word of God.
Exhibits Christlike characteristics such as humility, servant leadership, compassion, and integrity. Actively seeks to make new disciples and grow existing disciples.
Seeks to be involved with other Pastors in the area and promote Christian community involvement.
Preach Biblically based sermons on Sunday mornings.
Provide teaching opportunities for spiritual growth.
Moderate and provide spiritual leadership to the Session.
Provide leadership training and support to church officers and leaders.
Be a shepherd to the congregation and participate in visitation.
Provide timely and consistent communication with the congregation.
Hold regular office hours.
Build and maintain relationships within the congregation and community.
Welcome and follow up with church visitors.
Outreach to the community to bring people to Jesus.
Supervise the members of the church staff.
Hold regular staff meetings for coordination and growth.
Conduct annual staff reviews.
Be involved with the Presbytery of the Harvest.
Be familiar with and use various social media platforms to communicate and create content.
