a) Minimum College or University degree related to ministry position
b) Ministry Credentials with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada or similar
c) Pastoral experience with a proven track record leading children and families
d) Current Criminal Records Check available upon request
a) Knowledge, wisdom, and passion for ministry to children and families
b) Thrives in a multi-cultural multi-staff Pentecostal ministry context
c) Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented, relational, client focused
d) Self-motivating, positive attitude, reliable, and enthusiastic
e) Strong ability to recruit, train, and lead volunteer ministry teams
f) Skilled in public speaking to small and large groups
g) Familiar with Plan to Protect® abuse prevention and protection
h) Minimum Class G driver’s license and ownership of reliable vehicle for ministry
a) Provides servant-leadership in conjunction with the Pastoral Team to coordinate ministry in accordance with the vision of the Lead Pastor and Board
b) Serves alongside the Lead Pastor to facilitate Sunday services and other events and activities throughout the year to minister to the church family and community
c) Oversees all programming and ministry for children and families including all retreats, conferences, outreaches, leadership development, and discipleship
d) Trains and mentors children in a unified and growing trajectory towards greater Bible knowledge and Christian maturity and witness
e) Provides pastoral care and prayer support for children and their families
f) Creates and implements strategies for discipleship, church growth, and outreach.
