POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Non-Exempt

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Connections Pastor is vital to helping connect and assimilate people into the Vineyard Church community. This pastor is primarily responsible for overseeing First Impressions Teams and the Connect Track. She/He will recruit, train, develop, and support a large team of volunteer leaders and team members who create a welcoming and inviting environment that helps people move into deeper connection within the church through Serve Teams and Life Groups. They will also provide oversight of the Connect Track, a core suite of classes and experiences that help build connection and engagement. They will also perform other pastoral duties as needed (Care, Personal Ministry, Weddings, Funerals, etc.)

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
A pastoral calling
Must possess strong people skills and a gift for hospitality, connections, and networking.
Must be comfortable in an upfront and visible leadership role
Alignment with Vineyard values for: Spirituality, Excellence, Joyfulness, Generosity, Innovation, Collaboration, and Encouragement.
Must be able to have fun.
Must love people.
Must be highly collaborative and flexible
A good listener and a good communicator
Able to process feedback, criticism and change requests with a positive attitude and diplomacy.
Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must have an ability to manage and lead complex projects and lead people involved with them.
Must desire to continue to learn and grow in ministry.
Must believe in Vineyard values, goals, priorities, and convictions.
Relevant or transferrable professional and educational experience in pastoral ministry

Be a regular supporter of Vineyard in both time and money.
Be a regular attendee of Vineyard weekend services.
