Lone Pine Baptist Church is calling for a full-time pastor to come join us that will bring new ideas and is willing to be involved, with all aspects of the church.

While experience is not necessary, some seminary training would be encouraged.  A parsonage is available on the grounds.

Main Responsibilities will include but not limited too:

·      Leading services on Sunday Morning, Sunday Evening, and Wednesday Evening.

·      Working with Sunday School groups to better curriculum and practices.

·      Lead our congregation in community outreach and service.

·      Help with missions abroad and locally.

·      Be willing to make community visits to sporting events for congregants and potential congregants, the elderly in nursing homes, and any sick or shut in members of our congregation.

·      Work with committees within the church to assure productive meetings and events.  Attend different events within the church such as Vacation Bible School, Birthday Club, Prayer Groups, and other groups that will arrive with a growing congregation.

·      Be a believer in the Word of God and show the congregation and community their confidence in our Lord and Savior through actions and messages.

·      Council congregants on aspects of life and walking with God personally, through marriage, or other points in life.

·      Perform wedding and funeral ceremonies as needed.

·      Work with our praise team to plan and conduct weekly services.
