Position for Assistant Pastor (Full Time)

Job Description:

– Assist in overseeing ministries directly or through volunteer and/or paid part time directors.
– Assist in discipling and caring for members of the church, especially ministry leaders.
– Plan and facilitate ministry.
– Occasional preaching and teaching Bible studies.

Required Qualifications:

• Believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and has a growing personal relationship with God.
• Aligns with Grace’s multiethnic vision and actively pursues to practice it through ministry.
• Able to work well together with people of different backgrounds and cultures, and has a willingness to grow in their cultural competency.
• Relational, possesses good team leading skills, teachable, and willing to submit to the Session.
• Able to preach and teach the gospel clearly to all ages.
• Ordained in the PCA, willing to transfer ordination, or willing to pursue ordination in the PCA.

Other helpful qualifications:

o Experience or background in any of the following: Administration, music, leading worship, evangelism outreach, discipleship, or next generation/family ministries.
o Undergraduate degree or above.
