Salary/Range: Commensurate to part-time or half-time pay.

Canvas, the English-speaking ministry at Good Community Church of Torrance (GCC). Canvas is a healthy and warm community made up of high school graduates to near retirees. We have an immediate opening for a paid intern with the potential for becoming an associate pastor.

Responsibilities would include the following:
1. Manage communications for the website, social media, and the Sunday bulletin. Create and manage posters and other collateral for the ministry.
2. Assist in the implementation of house church ministry (along the lines of New Life Fellowship in Houston). Teach newcomer classes and other Bible studies.
3. Manage and coordinate the administration of the Canvas congregation through various administration and organizational tools and platforms.
4. Help to enfold and engage high school and college graduates into the Canvas family.

The candidate would report primarily to the Lead Pastor of Canvas. The ideal candidate will have a healthy sense of community, relationships, teamwork, followership, and leadership.
