Summer Programs (With Assistance from Youth Sponsors)
-The Youth Minister will…
• be responsible for developing summer youth programming which include a minimum of one activity per month.
• help develop outreach events (VBS, Sports Camps, Music Camp) based on his/her abilities, interests and the available resources.
• be responsible for securing and training sponsors and participating with them.

Youth Groups (With Assistance from Youth Sponsors)
The Youth Minister will
• be responsible for developing a ministry to Middle School and High School youth
• be responsible for making sure all new youth are followed up on.

Jr. Church (Sunday mornings K-5th grade)
-The Youth Minister will
• be responsible for administrating the Jr. Church program, selecting teaching materials and securing and training of helpers for this program.
• be personally involved in Jr. Church during morning worship. This doesn’t require the Youth Minister to personally lead the program each week, but to be in Jr. Church at least half the time.

Evangelism
-The Youth Minister will
• call on youth and train sponsors and youth to reach out as well.
• be responsible for counseling youth considering decisions for Christ.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities
-The Youth Minister
• shall keep accurate records (attendance & financial) for all youth activities and groups.
• is strongly encouraged to attend their extra-curricular activities whenever possible. (ballgames, recitals, award ceremonies, etc.)
• will be responsible for promoting youth activities/programs and interacting with youth via social media, making use of articles in the monthly church newsletter and Sunday announcements promoting youth activities and youth news.
• is encouraged to participate in the camping programs of Ohio Valley Christian Assembly (Pomeroy, OH.) if possible.
• will be involved in the overall responsibilities of the church under the direction of the Preaching Minister based on giftedness and interests. (preaching, calling, hospital visits, etc.)

Time Off
The Youth Minister
• will receive one paid weekend off after being employed for 6 months, two weekends after one year.
• will clear time off with the Elders in advance and have responsibilities covered prior to departure.

The Church will Provide
• housing in the adjacent “Youth House” when in Middleport
• current weekly budgeted salary of $250 gross pay (before taxes)
• Office space and equipment, budgeted allocations for ministry
