Responsibilities
The primary role of the Worship Leader is to create an engaging and excellent worship atmosphere during all church services and quarterly worship/prayer events. It’s working alongside the pastor to bring about a Christ centered change in the family of Emerge
church.
The chosen candidate will also work closely with the youth leadership to develop a new youth worship team.

Qualifications
● Must be a spirit filled Christian; meeting the 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and 1 Peter 5 qualifications for church leadership.
● A collaborative-team approach to leadership in ministry.
● Skilled in inspiring and training the current team, as well as recruiting new members.
● Joyful spirit and good sense of humour.
● Able to work without direct supervision- yet supporting the direction/vision of Emerge Church.
● Experience in leading worship in a contemporary-charismatic setting.
● Must have excellent keyboard or guitar skills.
● Commitment and agreement with our church’s beliefs and doctrines
● Holds to a doctrinal statement which is compatible with the PAOC Statement of Fundamental and Essential Truths. This includes being able, or at least willing to hold credentials with PAOC.

Education and Experience
● A current student or graduate of a post secondary Bible school [preferably in worship and music arts] -or an equivalent through ministry experience
