Job Overview

First Baptist Church in Guymon, Oklahoma is currently seeking a full-time Youth and Discipleship Pastor who will join us in proclaiming the glory of God in Jesus Christ in the Panhandle of Oklahoma. The Youth and Discipleship Pastor will lead in the church’s youth, children, discipleship and evangelism ministries, with a primary focus on youth discipleship and evangelism. The Youth and Discipleship Pastor is a Pastor and recognized spiritual leader who works together with the other Pastors to fulfill our vision and priorities of biblical faithfulness.

Job Description

The Family and Discipleship Pastor is expected to be an elder/pastor and shepherd (a spiritual leader who leads, feeds and protects) the people of God under his care at FBC Guymon.

The GOAL and FOCUS of this position is to equip and lead others to maturity in Christ.

Leadership is expected in the church’s youth, children, discipleship and evangelism ministries in alignment with the biblical principles found in the Bible and the mission and vision of our church.

Primary Emphasis (in time and leadership) will be given to youth discipleship, evangelism and care within the body of our church.
