Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and implementing a Biblical educational program for grades 6 – 12.

Support the ministry of the Children’s Coordinator.

·         Design the youth program with goals and timelines

·         Explore and recommend program materials and supplies

·         Develop a yearly budget for recommendation to the Finance Ministry Team

·         Enlist workers to assist with youth group outings

·         Plan and conduct special projects and outings (such as camps, fundraisers, youth mission projects, etc.)

·         Must be in attendance for scheduled church services/activities

·         Design and implement a visitation program for the youth program

·         Organize and implement a bus ministry for the youth program; coordinate drivers for bus ministry

·         Assist with VBS

·         Fill pulpit in the absence of or as directed by the Pastor

·         Perform other duties as assigned by the Pastor

Qualifications and Education Requirements
·         Must be a born-again Christian

·         Called to ministry

Preferred Skills
·         Tech savvy

·         Have a CDL, with bus endorsement, or be willing to obtain one within 6 months of hire date

Additional Notes
·         Must believe/teach tithing

·         Must not teach Calvinism

·         Must pass background check

·         Be willing to work with other church groups in the area

·         Dress appropriately for activities

·         Willing and able to accept the challenge of building a Youth Program from the ground up.
