The gospel is to be lived out in all areas of a Christian’s life. For most Christians this starts in the home. The home has the greatest impact on lives. If we fail to impact the home, we will struggle to make a lasting impact on people. We are seeking a family pastor, a new position at Fellowship of Champions, that will help infuse a holistic multi-generational discipleship approach into the cultural DNA of the church. It is our hope that we can prepare the homes of our church to equip every person in every stage of life to experience more profound biblical values, practices, and a deeper love for Christ.Family Pastor Goals
Build relationships and be engaged in the lives of church members and attenders.
Equip adults to help the family glorify God throughout the week. This ministry is aimed at helping
strengthen marriages, parenting, and family discipleship.
In coordination with the Senior Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Children’s Director, prepare a plan for our church that encourages spiritual development from birth through adulthood.
Provide (create if necessary) avenues and opportunities for the church curriculum plan to be further
developed and used in homes during the week.
Ensure that adults and parents are regularly reminded of their God-given role to lead their families by creating a culture of family ministry.
Be a coach that helps and encourages parents to walk in faithfulness by developing milestones for families and helping them achieve them.
