    Job Description

    Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Ministries Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a heart for Family ministry and a desire to see young lives transformed by the love of Christ. The Family Ministries Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our children’s programs, from curriculum development to volunteer management, with a focus on creating engaging and impactful experiences for children ages 4-18.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Curriculum Development: Understand and work with our ORANGE Curriculum and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with our values and beliefs, ensuring that lessons are both educational and engaging.
    • Volunteer Recruitment and Training: Recruit, train, and support volunteers to serve in various capacities within the children’s ministry, including teachers, assistants, and special event coordinators.
    • Event Planning: Organize and execute special events and activities for children, such as holiday celebrations, Special Events, and family nights, to foster community and spiritual growth.
    • Child Safety: Implement and enforce child safety policies and procedures to create a secure environment for all children and volunteers.
    • Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed about upcoming events, curriculum topics, and opportunities for involvement in their child’s spiritual development.
    • Outreach and Growth: Develop strategies to reach out to new families and grow the children’s ministry, both numerically and spiritually.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in education, or a related field preferred.
    • Previous experience working in children’s ministry or a related field.
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and parents.
    • A vibrant personal faith and a passion for sharing the love of Christ with children.
