POSITION: ASSOCIATE PASTOR OR ASSISTANT PASTOR – (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)

The Associate or Assistant pastor at Faith will advance the gospel of Jesus Christ by providing organizational oversight to the church’s ministries, supporting, and equipping lay leaders in the church, fostering community life, and serving in counseling, teaching, and worship. This is a full-time, fully funded position.

The duties detailed below outline the priorities of the leadership at the Faith.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Ordained or qualified to be ordained as a Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America.

WHAT IS OUR NEED:
• Assistance to the Senior Pastor
• Visitation/counselling.
• Preaching up to 2 services/month
• Providing pulpit coverage in the Senior Pastor’s absence
• Supporting adult Sunday school
• Overseeing various groups – young adults & young families
• Leading a mid-week study
• Attending meetings – Session & Presbytery
• Other responsibilities as need arises and Session agrees to
