Job Description
Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church (LCPC) is seeking a full-time Engagement Pastor.
The Engagement Pastor plays a critical role in our mission by helping people connect in community, grow spiritually and serve others. The goal is to shepherd a clear, seamless and life-giving process from a person’s first experience of the church toward becoming fully integrated into the life of the church. As a leader of leaders, the Engagement Pastor will collaborate with ministry teams, nurture strong relationships with church members and
coordinate activities that promote spiritual growth and community involvement.
Meet Liberty Corner Church
Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church is a thriving congregation of six hundred covenant partners seeking to expand our ministry. As our mission statement declares, “we are a family of faith inspiring people to find and follow Jesus.” We have both traditional and contemporary worship, flourishing ministries for kids and youth, deeply rooted mission partnerships, and transformational wholeness ministries. As part of ECO (a Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians), we are reformed in our theology, egalitarian in our ministry and passionate for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The church is nestled in the Somerset Hills of central New Jersey. Our area boasts top-rated public schools, offers terrific dining and cultural events and is one of the safest communities in the state. Within an hour or so you can be seeing the sights of New York City, hiking a forest trail, enjoying the Jersey shore or rafting the Delaware River. It’s a great place to live and serve.
