Evergreen Church is seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Youth Pastor. The Youth Pastor will play a crucial role in leading and nurturing the spiritual growth of our youth community. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging programs, building meaningful relationships with youth members, and providing guidance and support as they navigate their faith journey.

Responsibilities:
● Lead and oversee all aspects of the youth ministry, including weekly gatherings, special events, retreats and service projects.
● Develop and implement a comprehensive youth curriculum that fosters spiritual growth, discipleship and biblical understanding.
● Build authentic relationships with youth members, providing mentorship, counseling and support as needed.
● Recruit, train, and empower volunteers to assist in various youth ministry activities and programs.
● Collaborate with other church staff and leaders to integrate youth ministry into the overall vision and mission of the church.
● Plan and execute outreach initiatives to engage and connect with youth in the community.
● Stay informed about current youth culture trends, issues, and challenges and address them within the context of the ministry.
● Provide pastoral care and support to youth and their families during times of need or crisis.
● Communicate effectively with youth, parents, volunteers and church leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
● Participate in regular staff meetings, training sessions and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
● A vibrant personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to living out that faith in all aspects of life.
● Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry or a related field (preferred).
● Previous experience working with youth in a church or ministry setting.
● Strong interpersonal and relational skills, with the ability to connect with youth from diverse backgrounds.
● Excellent communication and teaching skills, both in large and small group settings.
● Demonstrated leadership ability and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
● A heart for discipleship and a desire to see young people grow in their relationship with God.
● Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel for events or retreats.
