Position Overview
As the full-time Family Ministry Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the spiritual
formation of our members, from Nursery to Adult programs. You will enrich the faith practices of the
congregation by inspiring people to become more actively involved in the body of Christ through
volunteering in the programs of Jubilee. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing educational programs, reviewing and implementing curriculum, recruiting and supporting volunteer
leaders and coordinating hospitality for events and celebrations. You’ll work closely with our Lead
Pastor, Worship Coordinator and a team of dedicated volunteers.
Core Responsibilities
1. Ministering to the Jubilee CRC Community
o Recruit, equip, and support volunteer leaders for Jubilee’s education programs from nursery to youth and adult education, supporting our congregation to passionately engage with our ministries.
o Develop and monitor cohesive programs and select curriculum consistent with Jubilee Fellowship CRC’s Vision and Mission.
o Implement best practices in ministry for all age groups.
o Inspire the congregation to maintain casual but intentional contact with youth who have gone on to education or the workplace to ensure they feel continued belonging at Jubilee
o Be present on Sunday morning and Wednesday evenings to monitor and direct programs and volunteers and to build relationships, to provide continuity for children and youth and to engage with community members.
o Coordinate the congregation’s hospitality team to demonstrate care and compassion during milestone events, including weddings, funerals, celebrations and fundraisers.
2. Collaboration with Lead Pastor, Staff and Ministry Support Team
o Regularly meet with the Lead Pastor, Staff, and Ministry Support Team to discuss ministry needs for children, youth, and adults.
o Plan and implement programs aligned with Jubilee’s overarching ministry goals.
3. Staff Team Member Responsibilities
o Prepare for and actively participate in staff meetings to foster team building.
o Cultivate trusting relationships by supporting and encouraging fellow team members.
o Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive matters.
Qualifications
• A passion for nurturing spiritual growth and fostering a sense of belonging within the congregation.
• Strong overall vision for a flourishing inter-generational church ministry. • Experience in church ministry, volunteer recruitment and management and curriculum review and implementation.
• Effective communicator and collaborator with staff, members of the congregation and community members who access programs.
• Demonstrate a Christian faith; be a person of prayer and a student of the Bible.
• Willing to learn and grow together with ministry staff.
• Become a member of Jubilee Fellowship.
• Knowledge of best practices in ministry for all age groups.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive matters with care.

Hourly Salary Range: $23.50-25.51
