Overview of Role:

As a Children’s Ministry Coordinator at Quest Church, you will play a crucial role in inspiring spiritual growth in our youngest members. You will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment  where children can develop a lifelong love for Jesus. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Leading and guiding: Developing and implementing age-appropriate children’s ministry curriculum that aligns with our mission and values.

Building community: Recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers to create a welcoming and supportive environment for children and families.

Fostering growth: Creating opportunities for children to explore their faith and develop a deep connection with Jesus

Communication and engagement: Foster a strong sense of community by building relationships with parents and families through regular communication and engagement. Collaborate with the Next Generation Team to develop and implement long-term plans for the children’s ministry.

Planning and organization: Create and maintain a comprehensive Kids/Family Ministry Calendar, planning and coordinating events, activities, and curriculum.

General Team Expectations:

●      Know as many children and their parents by name as possible.

●      Be visible to parents and youth on Sunday Mornings.

●      Attend staff meetings twice a month.

●      Meet with your Staff Parish liaison quarterly.
