We are a dynamic church deeply committed to serving our community through various outreach initiatives; including Upwards, VBS, an Archery program, Women’s conferences, interactive youth group, mission trips and many other activities. Our aim in these endeavors is to expand the Kingdom of God by leading individuals into a transformative relationship with Jesus Christ!

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare and deliver sermons.
• Lead the church in effective witnessing to the church and community.
• Correspond with members and visitors.
• Cooperate fully with deacons and act as President of Church Council.
• Act as moderator of Church Business Meetings.
• Communicate the vision for ministry that God gives to the congregation.
• Be a servant leader and demonstrate a servant spirit as a growing disciple of Christ.
• Lead a life that models the call of God, His character, and continuous growth through personal Bible study and prayer.
• Supervision of church staff and employees

Qualifications:

The Senior Pastor must fulfil the scriptural requirements listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. He must fully agree with the “Statement of Faith” of this church and must be above reproach in his personal life and business affairs. It is expected that in the process of being called to the Church as Senior Pastor, he will have demonstrated to the Constitution & Bylaws of Spring Bayou Baptist Church, Inc. satisfaction of the Church prior to his calling and acceptance into the position that he possesses the anointing of the Holy Spirit to fulfil the duties of the Senior Pastor.
