PURPOSE: He/she will organize the list of non member children who attend Community’s educational ministries (Sunday School, GEMS, Cadets, Vacation Bible School) and make calls and contacts to build outreach discipling relationships with those who are not members and their families.

QUALIFICATIONS: The COC must:

-have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and Savior

-have a heart for evangelism and the growth of Christ’s Church

– be able to relate to people very well, especially tweens & teenagers. This includes gifts like being an active listener, empathetic to people’s needs, and an understanding of the problems facing dysfunctional families.

– be able to work well with others.

-regularly attend worship services at Community CRC

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

-The COC is to spend 10 hours a week on his/her responsibilities.

-The COC will work with the pastor and the Education Team to develop a strategy and goals for outreach. This will include helping canvass the neighborhood for church events, making visits in the neighborhood, attending church events and helping to promote and coordinate other outreach efforts.

-The COC will help transport and coordinate transportation for children to come to Sunday School.

This position pays $20 an hour.
