We have an opening for a full-time Student Pastor.  It would involve leading our Teens and developing the students through discipleship.  We have a staff of 5 full-time personnel and 4 part-time.  Our Student Ministry averages around 50 students on Wednesday nights worship, preaching and discipleship.  Currently entering our second building program in 5 years.  Averaging around 550 with two services.

Primary Objective: To oversee the discipleship pathway for teens and their parents and assist in the specific environment used to multiply disciples.

Job Description: To administer the youth ministries of the church for the purposes of leading young people (6^th-12^th grade) to Christ and toward Christian maturity.

Responsibilities:

• Directs the planning, coordination, and evaluation of youth ministry
• Oversees the youth team
• Recruits, trains, equips, and motivates youth team
• Purchase or prepare all teaching materials for students/teachers
• Develop a yearly budget for the student ministry program and oversee the expenditures of that budget.

• To oversee the follow-up of the students who visit Connect Church
• Oversee the student midweek services
• Keep up with current youth trends
• Plan and oversee all youth summer camps
• Plan and oversee all youth summer mission trips
• Plan and oversee all youth fundraising event

Organizational Relationships: The Student Pastor is immediately responsible to the Lead Pastor. The Student Pastor oversees the volunteers in all phases of the student ministry.
