Epiphany United Methodist Church (EUMC) is looking for a direct hire part-time Associate Pastor of Care, Missions, and Outreach Ministries in Loveland, Ohio (East Side of Cincinnati, Ohio) area.
Employment Status: Part-Time
Salary Range: Salary varies depending upon experience
Position Reports to: Senior Pastor
Lead, direct, equip, and recruit ministry teams/volunteers to meet the care, missions, and outreach needs of the church and surrounding communities along with measure the health, growth, and vitality of these ministries.
Elder, Deacon, or Local Pastor
Graduate ministry degree or equivalent, plus appropriate professional credentials based on current or prior roles.
Proven success of 5 years in the following areas: Care, Missions, and Outreach. In addition, proven skills and success in the following areas:
Leader who thrives in a collaborative, team environment
Strategic thinker with ability to lead and manage ministry teams.
Recruit, lead and equip ministry volunteers.
Highly relational and strong people skills
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in worship and worship planning as needed.
Serve as the first point of contact for pastoral care needs and primary pastoral care provider.
Perform pastoral counseling and officiate marriages and funerals as needed.
Be passionate about ministry to members and surrounded communities.
Research and network in order to develop successful new mission programs.
Manage community partnership and ministry programs.
Recruit and equip volunteers and ministry teams in a multigenerational setting
Highly relational and strong people skills.
Develop and implement a plan to broaden awareness and increase visibility or EUMC in the surrounding communities.
Maintain a calendar of outreach activities and community events.
Support the other pastors and staff, including openness to help in additional ways as needed.
