Buena Vista UMC in Alameda, CA is looking for a Children & Youth Ministry Coordinator.

This is a 20-hr/week positions requiring weekend and Sunday hours.

Experience in Christian Education and in working with church youth is definitely preferred.  Our ministry with children and youth, other than preschoolers, has become nearly dormant as the pandemic has dragged on.  We are trying to restart it and grow it.  Prior to the pandemic, Buena Vista had a history of having a pretty vibrant Children and Youth ministry.  The position is currently vacant.
