The Director of Children’s Ministry (DCM) provides leadership and administrative oversight to the children’s ministry. While the Children’s Pastor provides the pastoral leadership to Quest Kids, the DCM gives organizational oversight and leadership to the department across both campuses. The DCM is principally responsible for clarifying the ministry’s vision, meeting the target goals/metrics of the strategic plan, and developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for ongoing staff and volunteer recruitment, training, and supervision.
- The candidate will organize, structure, and complete special projects as required by the Student Ministries Pastor (e.g., policy manuals, seminars and conferences, etc.)
- The DMC will prioritize the Sunday Experience to be an event that is executed with excellence at both campuses.
- The applicant is responsible for facilitating the creation and implementation of the Children’s Ministry budget—providing oversight, direction, recommendations, and proposals as appropriate.
- Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years’ experience in leading Children’s Ministry or a school, and 2-4 years’ experience in the field of project development, leadership, recruiting, training, and public speaking.
