EXPECTATIONS:
1. The primary role of the Executive Pastor is to support the Lead Pastor in the accomplishment of specific ministry goals by developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies to accomplish ministry objectives with excellence. This position is an extension of the Lead Pastor in relation to all things “ministry” and sits as an Advisor to the Overseer Team.

2. Love Jesus, His Word, and His church. The right candidate will have a thriving relationship with God that comes from a true understanding of His Holiness and His grace. The candidate will embrace a church made up of different people, many who are young in faith and difficult to love.

3. Develop the church staff to: a) become stronger visionaries; b) practice better communication; and, c) achieve their ministry objectives and goals.

4. Participate in the annual goal-setting process, in partnership with the Lead Pastor, to establish key objectives and tasks for all staff members. Lead bi-annual employment reviews.

5. Establish and maintain a set of key performance measures (KPMs) that provide the Lead Pastor and church staff with ongoing visibility of the effectiveness of all functional areas of the church.

6. Work closely with the Lead Pastor to develop financial plans and prioritize expenses to accomplish ACC’s mission and vision.

7. Lead most staff meetings and attend Production Planning meetings.

8. Conduct individual monthly meetings with pastoral and ministry staff monthly to provide development and ministry direction.

A SERVANT LEADER: Someone who loves to serves others for the larger sake of the Gospel. No task is beneath them and flexibility is embraced for the cause of the Gospel.
