At Crossroads Bible Church we value a collaborative approach to youth ministry with a commitment to God’s Word at its core. We are looking for a high school director who will invest in the lives of students by leading a team of volunteer leaders, effectively teaching God’s Word, and executing well-planned events/retreats.

This position provides leadership through teaching, shepherding and leadership of volunteer mentors as a high school director.
Gifted expository and topical preacher that is biblical, passionate and connects with students
Coordinate and manage small group ministry (curriculum selection, planning, preparation, etc.)
Skilled in teaching the whole counsel of God, including apologetics
Help disciple and mentor students in one-on-one, small, and large group settings
Oversees student ministry outreach and service opportunities (projects, trips, etc.)
Providing guidance to build up the next generation of leaders
Servant Leadership Oversight
Attend all ministry programs and events and assist with annual leader care and development planning (recruiting, orientation, training, and appreciation)
Shepherd small group leaders with care and thoughtfulness
Directly accountable to the Family Pastor, and in his absence, the Executive Pastor
Collaborates and interacts closely with CBC team
Attends weekly PnD (Pastor and Director meetings)

Demonstrate qualifications of an elder as outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
Passionate for Youth ministry and the unique schedule that it requires
Demonstrates initiative and understands the value of daily/weekly/monthly/annual planning and ministry goal development and action steps
Skilled in identifying, attracting, and recruiting new leaders
Servant Leader who has experience in empowering people and leading teams of volunteers
Proven track record with discipling/mentoring youth
Embodies the Family Ministry Team Values: relational, considerate, fun, passionate, creative, humble, and trustworthy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with youth, parents and teammates
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university, and evangelical theological education (Seminary degree desired)
