High Point Assembly of God in Royse City, TX is currently seeking to hire a part-time Kids Pastor. High Point is a contemporary, Spirit-filled church in a quickly growing area of North Texas. Our vision is to connect through faith, truth, and service.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE

• Organize and oversee a high energy, spiritually rich Sunday morning kids ministry experience.
• Organize and oversee Wednesday night kids ministry discipleship.
• Recruit, screen, develop, and schedule teams of workers for all kids ministries.
• Attend Kids Camp with the kids each summer.
• Organize and oversee special kids ministry events and transportation as needed.
• Develop relationships with kids and their parents through frequent personal contacts and follow-up.
• Greet new kids and visiting families and organize a follow-up ministry for kids.
• Promote and enforce kids ministry policies and safety procedures.
• Cooperate with church staff and leaders to advance the whole church.

• Be passionate about Jesus and making disciples.
• Attend a monthly staff meeting on Sunday afternoon.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a strong relationship with Jesus.
• Must agree with the Assemblies of God 16 Fundamental Truths.
• Must have experience (paid or volunteer) working in children’s ministry.
• Prefer AG credential or currently pursuing.
