Chauvin Gospel Center is seeking someone to lead a small but enthusiastic group of believers engaged in reaching their community and surrounding areas, primarily oil and farming communities.
The church is looking to the Lead Pastor to equip the congregation to be disciple making disciples to reach lost people. The area is rural with many small communities where people can often feel isolated, disconnected and lonely, as they try to find answers to life and make life work on their own.
The Lead Pastor must be able to lead the congregation, be a clear communicator and developer of leaders.
The mission will be to reach and lead families to become fully devoted followers of Christ. The Lead Pastor will have oversight and give direction to all ministries of the church.
This position is for a team player, not a lone wolf, who must be able to delegate and recognize gifting among the congregation and encourage them to actively engage in reaching lost people, making disciples and expanding the Kingdom of God.
Adaptation to small town culture is required as well as a willingness to persevere. One must be a self-starter, who is self-motivated and can do so in isolation.
Applicants must have some pastoral experience, theological training, credentialed with the PAOC or credentiable and a Canadian citizen. They should be a natural leader with an observable life of discipleship and spiritual disciplines. Computer skills, fluency in social media, and musical aptitude, would be an asset in your arsenal.
