Minister of Youth/Education Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church in Arp, Texas is currently seeking a Minister of Youth and Education. Salary is $55,000 Plus. This is a full-time position which includes housing. Please send your resume by email.

Position of Minister of Youth/Education Requires: ·  A High School Diploma.  ·  A College Degree.  · Experience in Youth/Education is a plus.  · Excellent speaking skills and the ability to speak confidently before groups.  · Quality leadership and administrative skills.  ·  Basic ability to use computer software, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.  · Commitment to Biblical Christian principles and teachings both professionally and personally.  · Passing criminal, financial, and sexual misconduct background checks.

Youth Minister Responsibilities:  · Win lost youth to Faith in Christ; consistently and constantly with passion.  · Teach the Word God consistently to youth every Wednesday night. Coordinate and lead the entire Youth Time Out Program on Wednesdays (including meals).  · Teach and reinforce strong conservative biblical doctrine in accordance with BF&M 2000.  · Conduct steady consistent youth events that are calendared with the purpose of winning the lost and developing the saved in this part of Smith County and beyond.  · Be the leader of our group for youth camp each Summer.  · Participate in the local community and school events as possible.  · Work with parents and students to encourage family discipleship and use parents in youth ministry as available.  · Submit youth budget once a year.   · Teach and practice Biblical praying with students.   · Help the pastor and rest of the staff in ministry to youth and youth families in pastoral care situations.   · Other duties as assigned by Pastor.

Minister of Education Responsibilities:  · Lead the church in planning, conducting and evaluating a comprehensive program of Christian Education.  · Serve as educational research person and advisor to the leaders of the church programs and service organizations.  · Lead the church to be aware of the educational and curriculum materials available and lead the church to choose the most suitable.  · Give supervision and direction to Awana Program for children (salvation and discipleship).  · Guide in the selection, enlistment, training and encouragement of workers.  · Recommend suitable educational building space and equipment.  · Develop and administer a Sunday School/Bible Study outreach program.  · Support the pastor in visiting hospitals, nursing homes, etc.  · Direct and promote meetings for training and preparation of Sunday School/Bible Study leaders.  · Formulate an annual Education budget to be recommended to the Budget Planning Committee.  · Perform other duties as assigned by pastor.
