    Job Description

    We need a pastor to share our vision for growth and community outreach. The teaching, organizational agility, motivational strategies, and pastoral skills of our new pastor will serve to guide us forward to enlarge our vision. Through God’s grace, this kind of leadership will attract other believers, those searching for spiritual faith, and non-believers who are led by the Spirit to our congregation. We believe God is preparing us and our new pastor to bring encouragement, love, and vision to serve God and spread the Good News in Parker.


    We are searching for a pastor who is a great teacher, story teller, motivator, and communicator. A person dynamic in leading new growth in our church as well as compassionate in pastoral care of our current members. Someone grounded with a keen understanding of the Bible and the teachings of Jesus. A pastor excited to engage with our congregation and join us in ministry. need a minister with a heart for all ages. Today’s environment of digital technology and social media as well as the demographics of our community requires a pastor knowledgeable and comfortable using new strategies to reach beyond our walls in worship and ministry. recognize that our congregation has dwindled, and that we must have innovative growth strategies in our leadership. Together we see these challenges as opportunities for fresh ideas and goals. Our pastor must demonstrate personal integrity in striving to live the life that Jesus taught. He or she is an example of Christian living and spiritual maturity.

    Tasks and assignments

    Our pastor will lead Bible-based worship and teaching from the pulpit and beyond, including innovative technology outreach, Bible studies, mentoring, shepherding, and pastoral care. He or she will work with the worship and music team to create meaningful, participatory worship; provide training for those willing to take on new responsibilities as elders, deacons, and teachers; practice pastoral care and support for members and actively participate in community outreach with other community leaders.
