Job description

The Student and Children’s Pastor is a Full-Time employee who works under the supervision of the Lead Pastor. Primary responsibilities include leading children and student ministries and development of a gospel centered and cohesive ministry strategy empowering parents and ministry volunteers to disciple children and students.

Student Ministry – 6^th grade – 12^th grade

• Works directly with Students to provide weekly discipleship opportunities.
• Administrate and implement a summer ministry opportunity for students as well as other events as appropriate.
• Recruits, develops, and trains volunteer ministry leaders.
• Oversees curriculum implementation.
• In concert with the Pastor and Overseers, develop and implement budget for Student Ministry

Children’s Ministry- Birth – 5^th grade

• Oversees Sunday morning ministries including Nursery, Preschool, and Children’s Church.
• Recruits, schedules, and trains ministry volunteers.
• Oversees curriculum implementation.
• Oversees the implementation of an annual Vacation Bible School.
• Administer other outreach opportunities as needed.
• In concert with the Pastor and Overseers, develop and implement budget for Student Ministry

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Biblical/Theological Education or similar. Master’s Degree Preferred

Experience working with Student and Children’s Ministry.

Individual has evidence of a “call” on their life for full time vocational ministry.

Agree to and adhere to the Basic Beliefs as outlined in our church constitution.
