Woodstock Church//PCB is one of five campuses of First Baptist Church of Woodstock, GA. Under the direction of Pastor Johnny Hunt First Baptist Church of Woodstock has touched many lives for Jesus Christ all around the world. Pastor Johnny Hunt has recently taken a position with NAMB and Pastor Jeremy Morton has taken the helm of leading the church at reaching more lives across our Community and Around the World.
Woodstock Church in Panama City Beach, FL is a satellite church. Each week we host Sunday Morning Groups, Live Worship and our Pastors bring a live message via live feed from our central campus or with our campus pastor.
At Woodstock Church PCB we aspire to be devoted to worship God, to have a desire to love others, and be determined to serve God and to be diligent to invite others to hear the good news of the GOSPEL.
We are seeking a Full time Student Pastor who will also assist with Coordinating our Sunday morning worship.
1- Be a mature Christian with a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him.
2- Commitment to moral purity.
3- Demonstrate excellence as a student pastor, i.e. has been a vital part of a growing ministry over the past few years.
4- Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in youth ministry, biblical studies, theology, music or related ministry field of study. A Seminary degree is a plus.
1- Lead and coordinate various youth activities for grades 6-12. These include weekly programs, missions trips, camps, retreats, and special events.
2- Build relationships by personally getting to know the youth.
3- Teach and/or oversee the teaching of Bible lessons that give a clear plan of salvation, and grow disciples which will result in teens desiring deeper spiritual lives.
4- Build relationships and community within the youth group through games and activities. Must be able to promote and have fun.
5- Plan and execute calendar of events that promotes growth and community.
6- Work closely with the lead campus pastor in setting goals for the youth and actively work to complete said goals.
7- Be informed, and actively participate in area middle and high school events.
8- Organize and oversee all youth meetings, which would include developing or overseeing student musicians to lead youth worship.
9- Work with the lead campus pastor to plan and coordinate worship of the church.
10- Assist in leading worship for all church services
11- Identify, recruit and lead musicians and praise team members.
Skills and Abilities:
1- A pastor as well as someone who can lead worship. This doesn’t mean you need to be ordained.
2- Current on, or ability to learn software and technology relating to youth ministry and worship media.
3- Personable and teachable spirit by being willing to learn and grow.
4- Able to organize the day to day operations of ministry programs.
5- Have enthusiastic presence for leading the church in worship.
6- Skilled in organization, administration, and interpersonal relations.
7- Be a self-starter and an extrovert.
1- Participate as a team member with a highly supportive staff.
2. Maintain scheduled office hours with the church building
3- Reports to the lead campus pastor.
4- Communicates to the church regarding youth and music ministry programs and events.
5- Other pastoral duties as assigned by lead campus pastor.
