POSITION DESCRIPTION: Worship Leader will maintain and coordinate worship services, volunteers, tech, AVL, and experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Communicate with vocal members and develop a weekly service rotation schedule per member availability.
* Set up a vocalist rotation schedule in Planning Center, and send out notifications in a timely manner.
* Communicate songs and service plans with scheduled vocalists in preparation for services and events.
* Notify vocalists of any changes taking place within the scheduled service such as key changes, song structure changes, or song placement within the service.
* Collaborate and communicate all aspects of each service with the Music Director including team strengths, song selection and service progression.
* Work and collaborate directly with the Music Director as well as tech team on musical structure, progression, and transitions of songs for each service.
* Direct and guide vocalists through rehearsals and services; making them aware of key changes, transitions, and any items that come up during the service such as song cuts, change in song structure or service items.
* Develop rotations of volunteers and staff members for Worship teams.
* Must be proficient in; Planning Center Online, ProPresenter, Worship Tracks, Multi-Tracks, guitar or piano, vocals, harmonies, and teaching/leading players and singers.
* Any other responsibilities set forth by the Worship Pastor as needed to accomplish ministry.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
* A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him.
* Commitment to moral purity.
* Commitment to the mission, vision of Sunrise Church.
* Demonstrated excellence as a worship leader (led, grew, and developed music ministry).
* Skilled vocally and instrumentally in either guitar or keyboard for leading congregational worship.
* A shepherd as well as a musician.
* A heart for the spiritual formation of those in the congregation and the worship ministry.
* Relational skills and an enthusiastic presence for leading and growing a vibrant church worship.
* An attitude of growth in the areas of modern technology such as Ableton Live and Playback.
