Qualifications:

• Demonstrate a life that is fully committed to Christ
• Agreement with the 16 Fundamentals of the Assemblies of God
• Baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence in speaking with other tongues
• A person of prayer and desire to grow in Christ
• Be a team player
• Experience in leading a youth group is preferred
• Able to communicate and reach today’s youth
• Good communication skills
• Desire to see youth saved in order to grow the Kingdom of God
• Ability to lead worship is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Lead weekly Wednesday night youth service
• Lead youth to a deeper walk with Christ
• Schedule and lead monthly youth activities
• Take youth to Summer Youth Camp
• Take youth to Youth Convention
• Reach out to the un-churched youth in the community
• Be involved in the local schools in the community
• Be willing to train youth and other sponsors
• Be able to preach/teach in the adult service when necessary
• Assist the Pastor with the Sunday morning service responsibilities
• Work with the Pastor in community outreach
• Willingness to serve and support other areas of ministry in the church
• Assist the Pastor with funerals, weddings, and pastoral care
• Connect with visitors before or after services
