To develop teen disciples (Ages 12-18; Grades 7th-12th) for Christ with a Biblical World-view by developing and implementing a comprehensive approach to Youth Ministry (in the areas of Group Building, Worship, Discipleship, Missions, and Outreach) while serving as a Spiritual Leader and Role Model.

Faithful Church Attendance – Sunday Morning, Evening, and Mid-week Services.
Adhere fully in doctrine as expressed by “The 16 Statements of Fundamental Truth of the Assemblies of God”.
Must possess good written and verbal skills.
21 years of age or older.
Establish a growing Youth Group in the Troy Assembly of God Church.
Hold at least 1 weekly group teen meeting.
Build friendships and evangelize the teens in Troy.
Disciple kids who are saved and prepare them to evangelize and disciple.
Teach and train teens in the Ways of Righteousness with a through Biblical World-view.
Keep records. (Attendance, Saved, Baptized in the Spirit, etc.)
Work on developing an Operating Budget for the Youth Program.
Develop and maintain a good rapport with Parents, Teachers, and School Officials.
Teach Jr. High or Teen Sunday School Class.
Fund Raising (Goal of Youth Program is to be self-supporting).
Support Missions through Speed the Light (STL).
If possible, establish some sort of acceptable Regular Office Hours.
Help in Sunday Services as requested.
Support Montana Ministries Network A/G Youth Functions and participate when able.
Work to develop an Adult Supporting Cast.
Work to develop Youth Leadership.
Establish and maintain a close working relationship with the Sr. Pastor.
Represent Troy Assembly of God in a manner consistent with Godly principles, methods, and motivations.
Reports directly to the Sr. Pastor.
Regular meetings with the Sr. Pastor (for prayer, vision casting, direction, accountability, problem solving, planning and finance).
Write and communicate the Youth Ministry Year-End Report for the Annual Business Meeting.
Attend and participate in Church Board Meetings at the Sr. Pastor’s discretion.
Youth Pastor (Part Time – 15 hours a week)
$1,000.00 a/Month $ 12,000.00 Yearly Salary
Taxes are the responsibility of the Youth Pastor.
No health benefits at this time.
$2,400 Amortized over 3 years.
Vacation and Holidays
1 – 2 Years 2 Weeks Paid Vacation Time, may include 2 Sundays.
3 – 6 Years 3 Weeks Paid Vacation Time, may include 3 Sundays.
7+ Years 4 Weeks Paid Vacation Time, may include 4 Sundays.
Holidays include all Federal Holidays, including 2 at Christmas and 2 at Thanksgiving, plus your Birthday.
Sick days and personal days as needed.
This opportunity to serve comes with considerable flexibility and you may work an outside job part-time or possibly full time, if you can demonstrate that you are able to still minister effectively (reduction of hours could be considered).
You will be encouraged to set aside 2 days a week for your Days Off ; this should not include Sundays, and may be split up. All Federal Holidays are considered to be paid holidays for you and Additional Time Off may be scheduled at the Sr. Pastor’s discretion. Days Off , Vacation and Federal Holidays are not to include time spent at camps, retreats, etc.
