Columbia Baptist Church (CBC) is a diverse family united under a single mission statement – Igniting Passion for Jesus Christ From Metro Washington to the World.

We have services with different worship and culture styles, even in different languages. You can explore your faith in settings from coffeehouses to home Bible studies (Ignition Groups). You can make a difference in the world by helping us feed the homeless, teach others to read, or by sharing God’s truth and beauty through music and the arts.
In short, we are a dynamic, diverse, sometimes dysfunctional (as are all groups of sinners saved by grace) family, but we desperately seek to know God and strive to live according to God’s purpose.
