We are currently seeking a Family Pastor to oversee the education ministries of our church. The Family Pastor will work alongside of our Sunday School teachers and children’s ministry workers and will oversee the youth ministry of the church. The Family Pastor will also work with the Senior Pastor to fulfill the pastoral duties of the church.

Expectations

• Be able to work with a wide variety of people to equip the saints for the work of the ministry.
• Working with parents for the spiritual development of children
• Teach (at least) weekly Youth Bible studies
• Leading and developing volunteers
• Promote and practice discipleship with students
• Planning and leading of various activities
• Oversee curriculum for discipleship ministries
• Pastoral visits and duties as assigned by pastor (occasional preaching, funerals, visitation, counseling, etc.

Requirements

• Working to grow in one’s own personal relationship with the Lord
• Must express a call into vocational ministry
• College degree (or soon to graduate) – Ministry/Bible degree preferred
• Meets the requirements of 1 Timothy 3
• Able to pass a background check
