    Job Description

    Primary Role

    To champion the spiritual development of students at Mt. Gilead Church by creating irresistible environments for students to grow into lifelong disciples of Jesus, caring for students and their families, developing leaders around you, and becoming a key influencer in a growing church.

    What We’re Looking For

    Highly relational, energetic, and dynamic person with a self-driven passion for reaching, training, and equipping students.
    Demonstrated capacity to inspire, instruct, and encourage through effective communication.
    Previous experience recruiting, training, and developing leaders.
    Obvious passion for following Jesus and helping others follow Jesus
    Someone to invest deeply in our church and community

    Carry Direct Responsibility of Youth Ministry (Ultimate Win: Engaged & Excited Students)

    Oversee Youth Group for Students
    Plan and Oversee Student Ministry Trips & Events
    Cast vision for students & their parents for lifelong discipleship
    Develop an assimilation pathway for students to get connected into Groups, Discipleship, and Service
    Recommend Ministries & Initiatives to Start/Stop/Continue
    Oversee Student Ministry budget, calendar planning, and forecasting
    Setting goals, collecting the right data, and tracking progress of the ministry

    Adult Leaders (Ultimate Win: Equipped & Empowered Volunteers)

    Student Minister reports to Family Ministry Director
    Direct the recruitment, training, coaching, and development of volunteers as needed to staff a successful youth ministry
    Ensure that we, as a church, are able to connect every student to a caring, Christian adult in their lives

    Family Ministry Team Member (Ultimate Win: Dedicated & Enthusiastic Parents)

    Work with the Family Ministry Team to continue to develop and deliver Milestone Events that help kids, students, and parents celebrate spiritual growth milestones
    Advanced calendar planning and budget forecasting for Family Ministry events and initiatives
    Provide and develop resources to help parents become a spiritual influence at home

    Team Member (Ultimate Win: Well-Liked Team Player)

    Host Sunday services as needed
    Pastoral Calls & Visitation as needed
    Be a key contributor on projects that help move the overall vision forward
