    Job Description

    • Job Requirements: Manna Fellowship Church is growing. Because of this growth, we are expanding our team to include a full-time Student Pastor to help take us to this next level of growth. We are seeking an individual that has a calling and passion for student. We are seeking an individual that understands the value of student development and is willing to serve at least 5 to 7 years in this role.
    • Job Description: Role Summary – The Student Pastor will work under the direction of the Lead Pastor. With a vibrant Student Ministry of over 80 Junior High and High School students, the Student Pastor will plan, develop, and implement all aspects of a balanced student ministry in the areas of Evangelism, Worship, Discipleship, Outreach, Missions, Team Building and Fun Student Based Activities. The ideal candidate for this role should be equipped, enthusiastic, energetic, engaged, and able to execute a creative plan to further grow a student ministry. The candidate can also minister to the larger congregation by home visits, hospital visits, teaching, preaching, baptizing, and participating in community projects.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Key Responsibilities1.       3. Hunger to share the Gospel.
      4. Create a safe work environment.
      5. Continual development of the Student Leadership Team.
      6. Build long lasting relationships with students and families.
      7. Connect with local schools and community.
      8. Mentorship/Discipleship/Role Model.
      9. Connect students to the overall ministry of the Church.
      10. Must be fun and willing to have fun!

      Skills and Qualifications
      • Believe in Jesus as Savior and show evidence of a relationship with God.
      • Great communication and interpersonal skills, especially when building trust with students.
      • Ability to teach, inspire, motivate, and mentor others.
      • Humble with a Servant’s Heart.
      • Passion for sharing biblical, gospel centered messages to young people.
      • Creativity, a willingness to try new things for reaching students with the gospel.
      • Excellent organizational skills for managing events, budgets, programing, and teams of people.
      • Availability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and long hours.
      • Have experience in leading and growing a student ministry in a church setting.
      • Understand and agree with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 Statement.
      • Desirable to have a BA or master’s in theology, student ministry, or related field.
