JOB SUMMARY

Bluff Creek Christian Church is seeking to hire a full-time associate pastor. The associate will serve as a general associate minister working in the various facets of our congregation (200 people). They will directly oversee both high school and middle school ministries. The associate pastor will work in conjunction with church leadership (elders and pastors) and will directly report to the lead/senior minister. The associate is expected to grow as a preacher and will be part of a preaching team. Courage and obedience to Christ are absolutely essential for any candidate desiring to be considered.

We are looking for someone who possesses a strong confidence in pursuing the biblical model of the church as defined in the New Testament regardless of ministry trends. We are committed to doing God’s work God’s way and want to be faithful in our labors so that more and more unbelieving people will be saved and grow into the fullness that a new life in Christ can become.

We have two other full-time ministers and a number of other church staff who serve together to form a wonderful team. We are looking for someone to join us; someone ready to stretch, grow, and stay a long time as the Lord leads.
