PURPOSE: Be a part of reaching every student in every school in the city of Montgomery for the sake of the Gospel.
o Weekly Duties – Assist, plan and serve at weekly activities including worship nights and small groups.
o Outreach – Participate in and help implement outreach to middle/high school campuses. Be apart of casting vision and train students to reach students at their schools. Build relationships with school administrations and other campus ministries to facilitate effective outreach.
o Teaching – Participate as a member of the teaching team for Frazer Students.
o Social – Assist in running the Frazer Students social media through creative and interactive posts.
o Contact Work – Spend time building relationships with students, on and off campus. Assure that the Student Ministry has a plan to contact active and inactive students.
o Events – Assist with planning and implementing all events and retreats put on by Frazer Students.
o Volunteers – Equip and train volunteers to lead small groups, assist in check-in, participate in events and effectively minister to our students.
o Relationships – Create Christ-centered relationships with the students that establishes an inclusive environment, is above reproach and ultimately leads to a life transformed by the Gospel.
o Integration – Seek to integrate youth ministry into all phases of church life to create a culture that is intentionally intergenerational, striving to unite with and complement other church ministries.
o Pray – Pray for the youth staff, volunteers, students, and their families.
o Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Student Ministry.

• Exhibits a personal and growing relationship with God, a teachable spirit, and a personal spiritual life congruent with biblical mandates for leaders (1 Timothy 3:1-7)
• Called to student ministry, loves young people, and has a passion for evangelism and outreach, both personally and at the ministry level
• Self-motivated leader, capable of casting and imparting vision for ministry, possessing relational skills with students, parents, and staff
• 3-5 years of background in part-time or full-time ministry
COMPETENCY: Outside of the expectations listed above, other leadership competencies are required including but not limited to: team building, vision-casting and training of leaders in ministry; the ability to thrive and be flexible in fast moving environments; excellent working knowledge of the Bible; transformational leader of leaders; fun and easy to work with; effective communicator to students and their parents and able to connect multi-generationally.

CONTINUING EDUCATION: Workshops and seminars related to Student Ministry, Practicing spiritual disciplines for your own spiritual formation.
