Summary: This is a full-time position assisting the senior pastor in shepherding the flock at Hope Community Church (HCC). The primary ministry areas that we are looking to address involve our music/worship ministry, as well as teaching and discipleship. The candidate in this role may also be involved in various leadership capacities to include oversight of small groups, youth ministry, membership, and outreach. Exact roles and responsibilities will be determined on the basis of the giftings and experience of the candidate.

Overview: HCC is located in West Salem, WI, just east of La Crosse, WI off of I-90.  We are a member of the Forest-Lakes District of the Evangelical Free Church of America. We are praying that the candidate called to this role will help equip the saints for ministry, and guide the body as it continues to grow.

Purpose: This position, in coordination with the senior pastor and church leadership, exists to glorify Christ and build up the body of believers through God-honoring worship, teaching, and fellowship.

Qualifications: The candidate must:

1. First and foremost meet the qualifications of Titus 1:5-9 & 1 Timothy 3:1-7;
2. Be in agreement with the EFCA’s 2019 statement of faith and hold a complementarian view of the roles of men and women in ministry;
3. Have experience in serving the church; and
4. Have a desire to grow in knowledge and skill for the glory of God and the building up of the body.

Salary/Range: Dependent upon experience, qualifications, and expected responsibilities.
