Reclamation Church internships are for hard-working and driven young adults who are ready to gain valuable ministry experience while developing in their leadership.

God made you unique, and His plan for you is unlike anyone else’s. Leaders come in all shapes and sizes—yours included. That’s why, when you pursue an internship at Reclamation, you’re not going to get the one-size-fits-all experience. In the Internship program at Reclamation, you’ll get incredible 1-on-1 training from our pastors, gain valuable experience, and do work that matters. An internship at a Reclamation isn’t for just anyone—and that’s why we think it might be a perfect fit for you.

Purpose:

Internships are a training and proving ground for emerging leaders. During the internship, the intern will accumulate valuable experience, mentors, and knowledge that will prepare him/her for stepping into the next phase of their God-given calling. They will gain the experience and training needed to take their next step in living a life that matches their unique gifts with God’s specific purpose for their life.

Expectations:

Interns will work approximately 20 hours per week for a pre-established time of 8-12 weeks, recognizing that some weeks will require more time than others. Though the Reclamation Church internship is a temporary commitment, interns will not be treated as temporary. For the time an intern is here, they are viewed as a valuable and integral member of the church. Interns are expected to attend Sunday service and Thursday practice faithfully. In addition to the valuable experience gained while serving as an intern, they will also be given $200 per week during their internship. If needed, housing is available with a host home from a member of the church.

Worship ministry is devoted to cultivating a rich and vibrant worship experience for the church on Sunday mornings. This role will certainly help to grow your understanding of band dynamics, worship production, ministry, and teamwork. With that said, the main focus of this internship will be the heart of what we are attempting to achieve in worship. Interns will learn how to use their devotional life and the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct the church in worship.
